This place is quite unique. 0 ambiance, no place to sit - it's only a takeout place. HOWEVER they make authentic Vietnamese/french bread for pretty much all of the Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Their Bahn Mi sandwiches are to die for! We go at least once a week. Give them a try

Great Banh Mi spot. No frills, no seating, just good sandwiches on house made bread! They've got some packaged items made in house that looked interesting, along with some great in house made drinks. I did mine without boba and it was still good. Important note: In order to use a debit card there is a $10 minimum, so either count on buying a drink and sandwich, or bring cash. The sandwich is packed with flavor and really well balanced textures. What's special about this place is its simplicity. Give it a try!

It's been a while since I've been here and the prices went up slightly but I was still able to get two sandwiches for under $10. The sandwiches are tasty and a pretty good size. Service is always quick and friendly. It's a little hole in the wall definitely worth trying out.

If you have ever been to a Vietnamese banh mi shop this will be familiar, and I'm very grateful to have it because it seems to be the only one in Richmond. They have many options for banh mi, some shrink wrapped takeaway snacks that I have been meaning to try but should do some research to know what I'm ordering, boba tea, and all for what is a reasonable price these days (5.00 sandwiches, which used to be 3.50 in the good old days but here we are). The first time I came here I got the 4 (shredded pork) and 6 (original specialty) and I remember being impressed by the bread but not so much those fillings. Shredded pork I believe is actually pork skin cold cut, which has a chewy gelatinous texture I'm glad to have tried but was not so thrilled by, and original specialty does not have pâté, but I really should have asked before ordering. Going back I realized what I really wanted was number 1, the classic cold cuts and pâté, great flaky bread. Flavor is not the best banh mi I've had but it will satisfy that craving relatively well. I will also say the Taro Boba was not great as it tasted more like coconut than taro. I will be back for the sandwiches though. What to order: Number 1! Or number 9 if you are less adventurous about cold cuts.
